Job Title: Forklift Driver

Pay Rate: £13.14 per hour, rising to £15.77 per hour after 6pm

Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Location: Tamworth B78

Job Description:
Our client is a global business that values a strong work ethic and takes pride in maintaining a clean, comfortable workplace.

The management team is approachable and supportive, and a great bonus is that the company believes no employee should have to pay for their own meal while at work. You’ll receive one complimentary meal per shift—hot or cold—selected from the on-site menu.

The ideal candidate will:

Hold a valid external counterbalance forklift licence
Ideally have clamp experience (training will be provided if needed)
Be comfortable working both on the truck and assisting with general warehouse duties
Be willing to undergo a drug and alcohol screening at induction
Be seeking a long-term position
Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload goods and products from containers
Place stock into and remove stock from warehouse racking
Relocate inventory within the warehouse to accommodate incoming goods
Use handheld scanners to check and allocate stock from deliveries
Perform manual handling of smaller items
Collaborate with team members to achieve warehouse targets
Working Hours:
Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday, rotating shifts: 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00
