Cloud Engineer

Are you ready to take ownership of enterprise-level cloud projects in a global environment?

If you're a Cloud Engineer who thrives on designing scalable infrastructure, leading by example, and delivering secure, high-availability cloud solutions, this role is your next big challenge.

We’re working with a top-tier legal services organisation who are investing heavily in its tech platforms, and this newly created opportunity sits right at the heart of that transformation.

The Role & Setup

This is a full-time, permanent Cloud Engineer role based in Central London (Liverpool Street), with flexibility to work from home 2–3 days per week. You’ll be joining a forward-thinking technology function within a global firm, supporting business-critical infrastructure used by 4000+ staff worldwide.

The salary range is £82,000 – £86,000, and you’ll be working alongside a highly capable team with access to cutting-edge tools and meaningful project work.

What’s In It for You?

• Genuine project ownership, this is a greenfield role with space to shape and lead

• Work with modern Azure technologies in a mature, enterprise setting

• Exposure to CI/CD, security, observability, and containerised environments

• Be a mentor and thought leader, influence others and grow professionally

• Enjoy a collaborative, diverse, and inclusive team culture

• A chance to work with global stakeholders in a sector that values innovation

Core Responsibilities & Technologies

• You’ll be responsible for building, automating and maintaining secure cloud environments, primarily in Azure, with some exposure to AWS.

You'll:

• Architect and deploy scalable infrastructure using Terraform and IaC

• Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins)

• Implement robust monitoring, logging and observability tools (Azure Monitor, SolarWinds)

• Work with DevOps and Security teams to enforce cloud governance and zero-trust models

• Stay close to the technology – supporting the business, guiding junior engineers, and troubleshooting high-level incidents when needed

Who We're Looking For

• This role suits someone with strong hands-on cloud engineering experience and a proactive mindset. You should be:

• Confident working with Azure (and ideally some AWS)

• A strong communicator – comfortable liaising with technical and non-technical teams

• Experienced with Terraform, CI/CD, and scripting tools

• Passionate about knowledge sharing and team development

• Naturally curious – you enjoy solving problems and spotting better ways of doing things

• Resilient and adaptable – with a security-first approach to everything you do

If this sounds like the right opportunity for you or someone in your network, we’d love to speak. Drop us a message or apply directly to explore further
